The Brand’s History

HONG KONG MX Mooncakes was founded by Maxim’s Caterers Limited. In 1987, the brand launched the first box of Lotus Seed Paste Mooncake with 2 Egg Yolks in Hong Kong and received good market response. In 1998, our White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncakes with 2 Egg Yolks was launched in the market and successfully become the no. 1 seller of Mooncakes in Hong Kong. The brand is highly committed to a persistent quality and innovative spirit of each of our products. Every year, we win the no.1 seller of Mooncakes and this year has been our 28 consecutive years*. It is indeed a great honor in the Catering Industry.

Since then, HONG KONG MX Mooncakes started entries to Mainland China and have been sold to different parts of the world. Whilst, HONG KONG MX Snowy Mooncakes was launched with new variants and flavors every year, which excites the market always. In 2014, the brand launched the first lava custard mooncakes. The new launch has revolutionized an extraordinary category beside Traditional and Snowy mooncake – the Lava Mooncake category. In 2015, we became the no. 1 seller of Egg Custard Mooncake^ in Hong Kong and have been no. 1 for 11 consecutive years. Since then, HONG KONG MX LAVA MOONCAKES leads the mooncake sector to another trend.
